Leadership Architect® 2009 Global Norms Reports incorporate norms data and analysis on three different levels—Competency level, Cluster level, and Career Stallers and Stoppers level.
The data and analysis reports:
- Were obtained from Voices® online surveys administered to participants in organizations across the globe
- Reflect results of Voices® surveys on two scales—the level to which the learner possesses the skill and the importance in performance of one’s job for Competency and Cluster levels, and the degree to which the learner possesses a Staller/Stopper and how harmful the Staller/Stopper will be to the learner’s career if he or she possesses this Staller/Stopper
Using the norms reports
Findings in the Leadership Architect® 2009 Global Norms were divided into multiple parts for each of the three reports:
- Report I—Competency Norms and Analysis Report is divided into six parts: Global norms for both skill and importance, global differences, norms for six industry sectors, competency skill across 12 job functions, and norms by position level and gender
- Report II—Cluster Norms and Analysis Report is divided into two parts: Cluster level skill rating norms and norms pertaining to Cluster importance
- Report III—Career Stallers and Stoppers Norms and Analysis Report is divided into three parts: Norms related to Career Stallers and Stoppers in general, norms related to the harmfulness of each of the Stallers and Stoppers, and a comparison between the 2009 Stallers/Stoppers with the ones reported in 2003
